SEOUL, Nov. 6 (Xinhua) -- Seven people were presumed trapped under a 60-meter-high boiler tower that collapsed at a power plant in southeastern South Korea on Thursday, according to Yonhap news agency.

The accident occurred at about 2:07 p.m. local time (0507 GMT) at the thermal power plant in Ulsan, some 310 km southeast of the capital Seoul.

Two people were rescued, but seven others were believed to be trapped under the structure that was supposed to be dismantled. The two rescued were not in life-threatening condition.

Fire authorities dispatched equipment and rescuers to the scene to search for the remaining seven people.

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung gave orders to mobilize all available equipment and personnel for the search and rescue operation.
