1st LD: 3 killed, 5 injured in S. Korea's highway construction site collapse

SEOUL, Feb. 25 (Xinhua) -- Three workers were killed and five others were injured in South Korea's highway construction site collapse, Yonhap news agency said Tuesday citing the fire authorities.

A structure above a bridge collapsed at a highway construction site in Cheonan, some 85 km south of Seoul, at around 9:49 a.m. local time (0049 GMT).

Among eight workers presumed to be buried, three were found dead and five others were wounded.
