S. Korea's forex trading falls for 2nd month in August

SEOUL, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's foreign exchange trading fell for the second straight month, central bank data showed Friday.

The daily average transaction of foreign currencies and derivatives in the domestic inter-bank market stood at 40.71 billion U.S. dollars in August, down 0.50 billion dollars from a month earlier, according to the Bank of Korea.

It continued to slide after reducing by 3.26 billion dollars in the previous month.
