SEOUL -- South Korea's gross domestic product (GDP) growth for the fourth quarter of last year was revised up by 0.1 percentage point, central bank data showed Thursday.

MANILA -- Philippine volcanologists on Thursday raised alert level 1 over Mount Pinatubo volcano, about 100 km northwest of Philippine capital Manila, due to "persistence of seismic activity."
